Hi, I am Furbert. I am like a giant goofy kitten who loves to play and run around. I can be independent, but the bottom line is I love human attention. I am talkative at times and like to have my opinions heard. Spending afternoons on my foster Dad's lap is a must in my daily schedule.
I am almost 8 years old. I am a big kitty and very cuddly to hold in your arms. My coat is dark orange tabby and a lot of people think I am handsome with a unique look in my eyes.
I was surrendered by my real parents after 7 years because they had a human baby. I am scared of small children and prefer to be the only "kid" in the house. I like other cats, but I kinda play rough. I am waiting patiently for a forever family to take me home where I can give back all the love I have.

Condemning young parents with the assertion that after seven years of caring for him that 'he' "wasn't important any more" is wrong and counterproductive. Especially when followed with the observation that ".. I am scared of small children.".
It is as easy and quick to euthanize or abandon an animal as it is to insure it has a future in a shelter and you would do well to show as much or more compassion and sensitivity to our fellow humans as you do to our four legged friends.
What great foster parents! This cat looks very happy in his environment despite being unceremoniously dumped thanks to a "new baby" (which makes me so angry). I hope this beautiful cat finds a forever home. In the meantime, he's lucky to have found good people willing to treat him the way he deserves. Thank you for caring!
