ISO enclosure update at the Sanctuary
This past March, we had an open house/ fundraiser to refurbish our isolation enclosures at the Sanctuary. As you can see from the "before"pictures, it was in pretty bad shape.
ISO rooms are a vital part of rescuing. This past several month, one of our volunteer had donated his skills and time to build new enclosures, tear down the old, and install the new!
What an awesome looking enclosures! Check out the kitty details. We still need to install the air duct pipes into each rooms but almost done.
All the kitties are going to want to go in there even if they don't need to be isolated.

welcome Eva and Spice
- Spice was returned recently.. with ALL FOUR paws declawed! Declawing is a very cruel procedure that no cat should have to suffer. Please read the article about declawing on our website.
- Do you remember Eva? She was adopted back in february but her Dad developed allergies involving skin rashes. She was regretfully returned.

Best Friend Adoption event
Mouse took part in the bi-annual Best Friend's adoption event at the La Brea Tar pit. he also went back to the Sanctuary after that. During the event, there was a couple that was interested in him, so hopefully he will be adopted soon.
One of our major donor - actress Tricia Helfer visited us during the event.
The event ended up a big success with most of the city shelter cats and dogs adopted. We rescued one kitty who fainted during the event. Since we knew a sick kitty such as her will not a have a chance where she came from, we took her in and is now recovering at our Sanctuary. We named her fainty-moo
